In November 1999, the Board of the Canada Council for the Arts appointed five people from the arts community to sit on the Art Bank Advisory Committee for a three-year term. This Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Director of the Art Bank regarding policies and procedures used to comply with the Art Bank mandate and corporate priorities. Meetings are scheduled as required.
The following people sit on this committee: Marcel Brisebois (Director of Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal), Marlene Creates (Artist), Olga Korper (Owner of Olga Korper Gallery), Matthew Teitelbaum (Director of the Art Gallery of Ontario), and David Thauberger (Council Board Member and artist).
