We Partied Like It Was 1972

On February 7, 2007, the Art Bank hosted a bash to celebrate its 35th Anniversary and to launch a new book entitled "Art at Work".  In attendance were hippies, disco dancers, and, in general, over 600 people in some pretty colourful and tacky outfits.  Guests watched the historic 1972 Summit Series between the Canadian and Russian hockey teams; ate Jell-O, hot dogs, and chocolate fondue; danced to some Bee Gees, James Brown and Diane Dufresne; enjoyed art works from Guy Montpetit, Claude Tousignant, and their peers; and had a great time toasting the decade that brought us the Art Bank.
