Alberta Artists Seen – On the Mezzanine! April 28 – May 10, 2005
In conjunction with the celebration of Alberta’s 100thanniversary, the National Arts Centre (NAC) in Ottawa is presenting the "Alberta Scene” – a 13 day festival showcasing Alberta’s arts and culture. As part of its ongoing partnership with the NAC, the Art Bank is featuring a special selection of works in the dedicated space on the NAC’s mezzanine from April 28 to May 10, 2005 "Alberta Artists Seen – On the Mezzanine!” is an exhibition of works by artists currently living and working in Alberta from the collection of the Canada Council Art Bank. The works are representative of a world view, of a knowledge of international media and of a personal investigation of subject matter and technique. Featured artists include:
