Aboriginal Awareness Week May 22 to 25
Works created by Aboriginal artists are in high demand. Of the close to 18,000 art works in our collection, over 800 are created by Aboriginal artists and 60% are rented. Here is a small sampling of the works in our collection:

Aboriginal Awareness Week, first introduced in 1992, is held on the four days that follow the Victoria Day long weekend. It was designed to increase awareness of Aboriginal peoples among federal public service employees.
