The Art Bank acknowledges the artists who have passed away in 2003

The Art Bank would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of the eleven artists from its collection who passed away in 2003. Their contribution to the Art Bank rental program is significant as most of these works are regularly in demand by government and corporate sector clients.

The majority of these works were purchased in the 70s and 80s – an indication of how successful the jury process has been in identifying and purchasing major Canadian artists.
